I was a very bad girl! Bead Shopping!
I hit the bead show yesterday and picked up some yummy candy. It is always overwhelming and I always wish that I had more money to spend. I tend to buy things that catch my eye. The only thing I wish I could have purchased were some unbelievable booulder opals from Queensland, Australia. One day.

I bought a beautiful labradorite cabachon and rounds. Hoping to turn that one into a bead embroidery collar.

New Crystal and Wire Wrapped Bangle Bracelets
I've been a wrapping fool. I'm obsessed with these bangles. They look great alone or all lined up on my arm. Made with stainless steel bangle bases and then wrapped with Swarovski crystals. Each of the 60 plus crystals are hand wrapped with anti-tarnish silver plated copper wire.

Change is Coming
I've decided to make a change in my jewelry designing. I will be concentrating more on natural materials in my creations. Along with the natural materials, I will be upgrading my metals to sterling silver and gold filled. I will continue to create in brass and copper too. I suppose there is always transition within creating. Trends, seasons, and a certain amount of passion for wanting to try new techniques. I am still in the process of finding what works for me. I am enjoying working with leather and gemstones. I have always loved wrap bracelets and found the Chan Luu style leather and gemstones fascinating.
